🇪🇺 Make Europe  Bloom: A Symbol of Unity and Reflection

As Art Director and project Manager, appointed by the European Parliament, I proudly and responsibly led the artistic team, production, and institutional relations for the presentation of the Strasbourg mural. This project, carried out by Antonyo Marest in collaboration with the Union of European Federalists, stands as a symbol of unity and reflection on Europe’s fundamental values.

The mural, composed of two interrelated pieces, is located on the campus of the University of Strasbourg, an ideal setting to foster dialogue, debate, and free thought. Each piece follows a narrative abstract style: the left mural emphasizes its message through a chromatic composition that represents the colors of member state flags, while the right mural focuses on the symbolism of the European Union. The two stars – one emerging and one in a state of emergency – reflect the aspiration to integrate and strengthen the European project as a bastion of freedom and unity.

This work, which was recognized and personally praised by all political representatives at the European Parliament headquarters, reaffirms my commitment to creating a coherent and impactful visual language. In every detail of the project, we sought to convey European ideals of equality, progress, and solidarity towards a common future.

Make Europe Bloom,” the slogan framing this intervention, is more than just a message; it’s a call to action for all European citizens. The artwork aims to present a Europe that, in its diversity, complements and strengthens itself, promoting a more inclusive and just society.
